About me

Based on my 39 years of experience in the international chemical business environment, of which 18+ yrs in a large service company to the Oil and Gas industry and 8 yrs in Gas Purification, this value proposition provides independent technical and commercial advisory services focused on gas purification and contaminant removal, specifically hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), related sulfur compounds and mercury (Hg).

H₂S Remediation

Hydrogen sulfide remediation remains a critical aspect across oil and gas, bio energy, and emerging energy systems due to its toxicity, corrosivity and environmental impact. Tailored treatment solutions, including (liquid) scavenging, (fixed bed) adsorption technologies and membranes, are essential to ensure operational safety, regulatory compliance, and asset protection.

Energy Transition 

As part of the global energy transition, the shift toward lower-carbon energy systems is increasing the importance of gas treatment and purification technologies. Effective removal of contaminants such as hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) and carbon dioxide (CO₂) is essential to enable cleaner fuels, reduce emissions, and support sustainable energy production.

CCUS and Hydrogen

  • In CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage) applications, the removal of impurities such as H₂S from CO₂ streams is critical to prevent corrosion, ensure safe transport and injection, and meet storage specifications.
